In the vibrant community of Greenville, NC, The Holistic Co. stands as a beacon of wellness, distinguished not only by its commitment to "hemp, health, and healing" but also through its dynamic collaboration with ABRM Elite Murals. Our journey with The Holistic Co. began with the creation of seasonal window paintings, later evolving into an elaborate interior mural project and an innovative t-shirt collaboration, weaving together the threads of art, brand identity, and customer engagement.
Seasonal Windows
Our collaboration commenced with the design of seasonal window paintings, set on a four-times-a-year rotation. These artistic displays masterfully blended the essence of each season with The Holistic Co.'s products, their empowering slogan, and themes resonating with ECU culture. Highlights included vibrant, UV-reactive mushrooms for the spring/summer display, creating a visually stunning allure that captivated passersby, and a fall theme rich with pirate imagery to honor ECU football, marrying local pride with The Holistic Co.'s brand. These windows transformed the storefront into a visual narrative that reached thousands, fostering a deeper connection between The Holistic Co. and its community.
The Mural
Buoyed by the success of the seasonal windows, the conversation evolved to include the creation of an interior mural. The aim was to develop an Instagram-worthy station where customers could capture and share their experiences, thus promoting the business organically. Tasked with reflecting something "classy not trashy," artist Riley Mills employed his signature abstract realism to encapsulate The Holistic Co.'s ethos within a colorful, eye-catching design. Painted over two days, the mural became an interactive backdrop that enriched the customer experience.
To complement the mural, specialty grey cork panels with natural, self-healing black cork were installed alongside, mimicking a sophisticated masonry style. This not only beautified the space but also provided a practical solution for echoing, enhancing the ambiance. The installation, documented by the skilled Warren Davis, added a professional sheen to the project, capturing the essence of the mural's impact.
A Collaboration That Transcends
Our partnership with The Holistic Co. transcended traditional art projects by turning the mural into a series of t-shirts, thereby extending the in-store experience to a form of personal expression. This innovative step underscored the symbiotic relationship between art and business, demonstrating how creativity can foster a unique brand identity and engage a community both locally and online.
